Our Mission
At Resurrection Presbyterian Church, we exist - as every Christian church does - to worship God, spiritually nurture one another, and share the gospel of Jesus Christ with those near and far.
Or, in other words, in terms of the hope of the resurrection that is found in our name, at Resurrection Presbyterian Church, we are seeking
to celebrate the life of Christ in our worship of God
to grow in the life of Christ by our ministry to one another
to share the life of Christ through our witness to those without hope.
We are also seeking as a church to preserve a rich tradition in our modern day: that of “Presbyterianism.” If you don’t know anything Presbyterianism, that’s fine - many of us did not either before becoming part of Resurrection Presbyterian Church! But we’d love to share with you what we have come to appreciate so much about historic Presbyterianism. Suffice it to say for now: you should know that we are a congregation whose ministry in this 21st century is rooted in that Presbyterian heritage that had such a positive role early on in shaping this part of the Carolinas, and even the city of Charlotte.
